A colleague today recommended this excellent blog post from 2020: Stop Asking for Feedback

I can't really say it any better than that. The main points for me were:


* Ask for advice, not feedback -- this is forward-looking and leads to a more actionable/useful conversation

* don't spam everyone - consider the best person for the guidance you seek and speak to them
